The coronavirus is changing how we live our daily lives. The global pandemic has affected various aspects of life, even our personal hygiene. Due to the frequent wearing of protective masks we are taking special care of our face skin, but of all it is our hands that are most exposed.

Regular and thorough hand washing helps prevent infections and the spread of disease. But frequent hand washing or excessive use of disinfectants can also damage the skin, so it is extremely important that the lipid protective barrier is adequately protected as it is essential for the normal skin functioning and prevention of the formation of dry, irritated and cracked skin.

In cooperation with Slovenian pharmacists, we have developed the first line of skin care and cleansing products based on brine from Sečovlje salt pans. The first product we are lauching is brine enriched e hand cream. In addition to well-known nourishing ingredients, such as shea and mango butter, jojoba oil and glycerin, the cream also contains brine or. as we call it the aqua madre-mother of all waters. This precious liquid, which remains at the bottom of the salt pans, after the salt workers collect the sea salt by hand, is an exceptional concentrate of seawater with a high content of many elements, of which magnesium stands out. Numerous foreign studies have shown that magnesium-rich brine acts directly on the outer layer of the skin (stratum corneum) by improving its hydration, which contributes to more elastic, smooth and beautiful skin.

Take care of your health and of proper hand care. The hand cream with brine is definitely a good choice for daily use. The light texture is quickly absorbed, moisturizes the skin and scents it with the citrus scent of verbena, which is liked by both women and men.
