When we talk about hard shampoo bars, we cannot ignore that they are much more environmentally friendly, because they don't need any plastic packaging. Due to the absence of water in their composition, shampoo bars usually do not even need preservatives. It is also an economical choice, while one bar of solid shampoo can be comparable to the consumption of 2 to 3 bottles of liquid shampoo. It's also convenient for travel.
The shampoos contain our unique, mineral-rich Salt-Pan mud, which helps the shampoo's cleansing effect by absorbing excess fats. The minerals nourish, restore, and moisturize our scalp.
Although similar to soaps, solid shampoos are not soaps. They retain the same active ingredients as liquid shampoos except for water, which is added during usage. The cleaning base combines three active detergents: sodium cocoyl isothionate, disodium lauryl sulfosuccinate, and cocamidopropyl betaine. These are one of the most gentle cleansers that effectively remove dirt without drying or irritating our scalp. All are 100% biodegradable. Our hard shampoos do not contain sulfates, silicones, and parabens.
Our shampoos contain panthenol (provitamin B5), a humectant, that creates a thin protective layer on our hair, making it look sturdy and thicker. Depending on the type of hair, we added different nourishing vegetable oils to the composition of our shampoos: coconut oil (for oily hair), jojoba oil (for normal hair), and argan oil & shea butter (for dry hair).
