Fulvia Zudič:
The author was born in 1961 in Koper, is one of the most prominent Istrian artists, known for her subtle interweaving of colour, light, and memory. After completing the School of Applied Arts in Ljubljana, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice in 1987. Her creative practice spans painting, illustration, costume and stage design, and ceramics – each medium marked by a refined sensitivity and a distinctive narrative quality.
Through her oeuvre, Zudič continuously explores the relationships between space, matter, and time – between the visible and the invisible. Her latest painting series, Evaporation, highlights these themes through delicate transitions where visual elements dissolve into light and silence.
She has presented her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad, and has received several awards, including the Alojz Kocjančič Award and the Giuseppe Tartini Recognition.
You are warmly invited to join us at the opening and experience a poetic encounter where image and sound intertwine, reflecting the landscape, body, and time.
