Gift Vouchers
These instructions applicable to gift vouchers are used by the company SOLINE Pridelava soli d.o.o., Seča 115, 6320 Portorož (hereinafter referred to as: Soline) to set out the rights and obligations arising from the use of gift vouchers provided by the Company. These instructions shall enter into force on 01/07/2024.
General provisions
A gift voucher is a piece of paper issued by Soline against payment in the form of a certificate bearing an unambiguous serial number, where by Soline is bound to accept said certificate as payment for goods and services provided in the Piranske soline shops, in the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park and Lepa Vida Thalasso Spa. The gift voucher cannot be used in the Soline online shop.
Purchasing a gift voucher
A gift voucher can be purchased in the Soline shops, in Thalasso Spa Lepa Vida and in Soline online shop.
When purchasing a gift voucher in the online shop, the provisions set out in the Terms and conditions for purchasing goods and services apply, with the exception of payment conditions. When purchasing a gift voucher, you can choose from the following options:
- when paying through the online shop, you can pay using: cash on delivery, debit card, pro forma invoice, or PayPal
- when paying in any of the Piranske soline shops and in the Lepa Vida Thalasso Spa, you can pay using: debit card, cash
- when paying in the sales department of the Lepa Vida Thalasso Spa, you can pay using: pro forma invoice
Returning a gift voucher in any of the shops of Soline, in the Lepa Vida Thalasso Spa or through the sales department is not possible; if you wish to return a gift voucher through the Soline online shop, you can only do so pursuant to the provisions set out in the General Terms and Conditions of the Soline Online Shop.
Liability of Soline
The liability of Soline arising from the gift voucher is established at the moment the consumer (person purchasing the gift voucher) pays the value of the gift voucher. The value of the gift voucher can be paid using one of the aforementioned methods – cash on delivery, debit card, pro forma invoice, PayPal, or cash.
The claim arising from the gift voucher is related to the certificate itself and is therefore bestowed upon the owner of the gift voucher. The fulfillment of claims arising from the gift voucher can be required by the owner of the gift voucher without any further identification.
The liability of Soline related to the gift voucher shall expire the moment that the gift voucher is accepted by Soline as payment for services, or if the gift voucher becomes invalid due to reasons set out in these Terms and conditions.
Rights of the holder of the gift voucher
The fulfillment of the obligations related to the gift voucher can be requested by its owner during the period of validity of the gift voucher in the Piranske soline shops, in the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park and in the Lepa Vida Thalasso Spa. Gift vouchers are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase, gift vouchers for the entrance to the Thalasso Spa lepa Vida are valid for 2 years from the date of purchase. After the expiry date voucher scan no longer be used.
The fulfillment of the obligations related to the gift voucher must be requested by its owner by providing the original gift voucher to the company in lieu of payment when purchasing the goods or services. A gift voucher is valid only with a signature and stamp. Soline reserves the right to check the validity of each voucher. The voucher can only be used for the service set out on the voucher. The voucher is redeemable only for entry to the Thalasso SPA Lepa Vida or for the value stated on the voucher. The voucher is redeemable in full. It is not possible to exchange the gift voucher for cash. In the event that the value of the purchase is higher than the value of the gift voucher, the holder of the gift voucher must pay the difference. In the event that the value of the purchase is lower than the value of the gift voucher, the Soline will not refund the difference. Soline is not responsible for lost, stolen or counterfeit gift vouchers. Prior reservation is required to use the services of the Thalasso Spa Lepa Vida.
The owner of the gift voucher can transfer the voucher to a third party without any limitations. The transfer is carried out by providing the gift voucher to the said third party. Through acquiring the rights related to the gift voucher, the new owner shall obtain all the rights previously held by the previous owner.
Other provisions
Nothing can be added, deleted, crossed out or corrected on the gift voucher. Otherwise, the gift voucher will be considered invalid.
Soline refuse to fulfill its obligation related to a gift voucher if the latter is found to be counterfeit.
