SOLINE Pridelava soli d.o.o. produces several types of sea salt, obtained through natural processes of salt crystallisation in salt basins. Its usage is very diverse.
The Piran salt is produced in accordance with the well established traditional process . The production is strictly controlled, for only top quality salt can be called the Piran salt.
The regularity of the traditional process, the implementation of its control and its suitable packing in compliance with the verified specification is confirmed by the national Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food. It eventually carries out announced and unannounced inspections, and may in case of any discrepancies deprive the producer of the right of using the name Piran salt.
